Tasting Notes - 2016 Grace Benoist Ranch Pinot Noir

A vibrant red ruby color, this 2016 Carneros Pinot Noir shows lifted red berry fruit flavors and aromas of fresh strawberry, Bing cherry, and raspberry, along with the signature cinnamon graham cracker spice found in our Grace Benoist Ranch Pinots Noirs. Appealing and bright, concentrated red fruit comes through on the palate, alongside delicate mineral earth and spice notes, followed by a lush mouthfeel and silky tannins. Youthful and fresh but with the potential to age for up to 10 years.

Tasting Notes- 2017 Grace Benoist Ranch Chardonnay

From six special acres in the heart of the Grace Benoist Ranch, our estate Chardonnay is iconic, representing all that is memorable about Carneros. Vibrant yet elegantly restrained, the wine is crafted as a showcase for the fruit, without malolactic fermentation and the lightest touch of oak. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, Granny Smith apple and Bartlett pear, Meyer lemon and a beautiful minerality are accompanied by lemon zest and citrus blossom. A solid backbone of acidity, with great structure and balance, are the signature of this wine each vintage.

Tasting Notes - 2018 Grace Benoist Ranch Rosé of Pinot Noir

Gracious and elegant, bright and delicate, this Rosé is still robust with aromas and flavors of raspberry, strawberry and crisp red Delicious apples. Notes of dried herbs, mint and a touch of cinnamon are evident in the well balanced, medium-bodied wine with a lingering, notably pleasing finish. Bold enough to go beyond just warm weather sipping, this is an ideal apéritif well suited to grace holiday tables and memorable meals all year round.
