The Study of Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir expresses the place it was grown to a degree that no other wine grape can. Experience how terroir influences the aromas and flavors of this delicate and popular varietal. Taste four Pinot Noirs from different growing regions, all made by Etude Winemaker Jon Priest, in a semi-private, seated experience.
All tastings are currently outdoor experiences and reservations are required.
All guests must wear a mask at all times when not seated at their reserved table.

Choose which wines you would like to taste in this private, seated tasting experience. Our Pinot Noirs span 5 distinct growing districts and showcase how terroir influences the aromas and flavors of this varietal. The Cabernet Sauvignons are handcrafted from several different unique sites within prestigious sub-appellations in Napa Valley. Other refreshing varietals include Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir Rosé.
Available daily at 10am, 1pm, and 3pm.

Rooted in Pinot Noir
Etude was established 1982, when founding winemaker Tony Soter set his sights on the cool-climate Carneros region in the pursuit of producing world class Pinot Noir.
As a winemaker, Tony always had a fascination with Pinot Noir. He has said, "Pinot Noir is the most appropriate vehicle with which to study wine growing, precisely because of its demanding nature but also because of its delicacy and transparency. Make no mistake it is a humbling pursuit, but when it’s right, Pinot Noir is a glorious and moving thing.”
